Araiwa Kazumi is chief of a section of the sales department at Kanemaru Sangyō, which is based in Hakata, Kyūshū district. He is married to a woman who is working at a local newpaper company. They seem to be an ordinary couple, except for one secret that Araiwa wants to hide -- he loves to cook. As his wife is not good at housekeeping, he does almost everything in his house and he also makes people around him happy with his cooking skills.
